First, get in touch with us. We'll discuss any work that needs to be done to the bike first and determine a price. We reserve the right to refuse to sell any bike for any reason.
We will fill out a contract with the agreed upon terms and pricing.
Next, we will pick the bike up and take photos so that we can list it and handle the entire sale process start to finish.
All consignment bikes require a non-refundable $30 deposit to cover cleaning costs. Any additional work that needs to be done first will be billed to the customer.
At the end you will get a check and a bill of sale.
Consignment commission: Hitchhiker Bikes will keep 15% of the final sale price before shipping fees if the customer would like a check. Customers may keep 100% of the sale price in the form of store credit.
The seller may terminate the agreement at any time.
